AIRTECHNOLOGY PRIVACY POLICY
1. Scope of Application
1.1. This page contains our privacy policy (“Privacy Policy“) and explains how we use and protect the personal data of users (“Users“) of this website www.airtechnology.it (“Site“).
1.2. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site operated by Airtechnology (“AIR“) and does not apply to other websites visited by Users through links on the Site.
1.3. This Privacy Policy complies with the requirements of Article 13 of Regulation No. 679/2016/EU (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR“).

3. Method of processing. Communication of personal data.
3.1. Personal data relating to the services provided on the Site are processed by paper and electronic means by AIR’s staff (technical personnel) expressly authorised or by Processors expressly appointed by AIR. Personal data are stored on AIR’s proprietary servers located in Italy. No information deriving from web services is transmitted or disclosed to third parties acting as independent data controllers.
3.2. We will not disclose your personal data to any third party who intends to use them for direct marketing purposes, unless Users have been specifically informed and have given their consent.
3.3. We may disclose your personal data to:
- (a) AIR group companies;
- (b) AIR’s service providers;
- (c) other third parties as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets; public authorities and agencies for legal and tax purposes, or to protect AIR’s business, customers, staff or suppliers. In some cases, AIR may be required to disclose personal data in accordance with lawful orders from public authorities and to meet national security requirements or to comply with legal requirements.
3.4. In the cases referred to in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c), the recipients referred to in paragraph 3.3. must comply with our privacy and security requirements and may not use the personal data we transmit to them for any purpose other than those set out in this Privacy Policy.
3.5. AIR will only process Personal Data in countries within the European Economic Area and will not transfer Personal Data to countries outside the European Economic Area unless such transfer is based on the principles set out in Articles. 45 – 49 of the GDPR including (a) the adoption of the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses; (b) in the presence of adequacy decisions adopted by the European Commission relating to the countries to which the Data is transferred; (c) binding corporate rules adopted by the AIR Group or AIR’s Designated Officers and Sub-Appointed Officers, (d) consent, contractual obligations or other prerequisites as referred to in Article 49 of the GDPR.
4. Type of data processed: Browsing data, Cookies.
4.1. During normal operation, the computer systems and programmes involved in the operation of this Site acquire certain personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
4.2. The information in question is not collected in order to be associated with specific Users, but could, by its very nature, enable the identification of these Users as a result of processing and association with information held by third parties.
4.3. This category of information includes IP addresses or domain names relating to the computers used by the Users who connect to the Website, URI(Uniform Resource Identifier) resources, the time of the request, the method used to send the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the User’s operating system and computer environment.
4.4. The above information is used solely for the purpose of (a) enabling Users to browse the Site and use the Site’s functionalities (technical cookies). Without these cookies, which are essential, we would not be able to provide certain services or functionalities and the Site would not function as smoothly as we would like; and (b) to obtain anonymous statistical information (analytical cookies) on the use of the Site, (c) to use profiling cookies.
4.5. Cookies are small text strings that, as a result of browsing websites, are transmitted and stored on the User’s terminal equipment, allowing them to be recognised on subsequent visits. The above cookies are either installed directly by AIR (so-called “first party cookies”) or by a third party (so-called “third party cookies”).

5. Data shared by Users voluntarily
5.1. The data collected by the Site include personal data voluntarily entered by the User. The optional, explicit or voluntary sending of e-mails and any other personal data to the addresses indicated on this Site and/or via the contact points indicated on the Site itself, entails the subsequent acquisition of the User’s (sender’s) e-mail address, which is necessary in order to reply to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message and/or in the contact points. Specific information will be progressively reported or displayed on certain pages of this Site and may be configured to provide specific services on request.
5.2. In relation to the above paragraph, the personal data and information that will be processed by AIR, if optionally sent by the data subject, may be:
- first and last name
- telephone number;
- e-mail;
- Country;
- company to which it belongs;
- any additional data or notes provided by the User.
6.Purposes and legal bases of the processing
6.1. Personal data collected through the Site are used for the following purposes:
- (a) to enable Users to navigate through the Site and use its functionalities (via technical cookies). In this case, the legal basis is the execution of the terms and conditions of use of the Site;
- b) obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site (through analytical cookies). In this case, the legal basis is the legitimate interest of AIR;
- c) responding to Users’ requests sent by e-mail and/or through the contact points indicated in the Site. In this case, the legal basis relating to the Users’ request is based on the need to execute a contract to which the data subject is party or the execution of pre-contractual measures taken upon the request of the same;
- d) the sending of newsletters concerning AIR’s informative material. In this case, the legal basis is represented by the Users’ free consent;
- (e) collection and processing of data by AIR for marketing purposes. In this case, the legal basis is the Users’ free consent.
6.2. Data retention for processing operations carried out by means of cookies is indicated in the Cookie Policy.
6.3. For the purposes of paragraph 6.1(c) above, personal data will be kept for the time necessary to respond to Users’ requests.
6.4. In relation to paragraph 6.1 (d) and (e), personal data will be retained until consent is revoked (except in the event of disputes, requests by competent authorities or applicable legal provisions).
7. Users’ rights
7.1. Users may, at any time and at no cost, exercise the following rights, as specified in the GDPR:
- (a) the right to be informed of the purposes and methods of processing;
- (b) the right of access;
- (c) The right to obtain a copy of the data held abroad and to obtain information on where such data are held;
- d) The right to request that personal data be updated, corrected or supplemented;
- e) The right to request the deletion, anonymisation or blocking of processed data; and
- f) The right to restriction of processing;
- g) The right to object to the processing, in whole or in part, even when the processing is carried out by automated individual decision-making processes, including profiling;
- (h) the right to withdraw freely and at any time consent to the processing of personal data, where provided and duly given
- i) the right to portability, (i.e. the right to receive an electronic copy of the data as well as the right to transmit such personal data to another data controller)
- (j) the right to restriction of processing;

8. Updates
8.1. We may also amend or update this Privacy Policy on the basis of changing interpretations, decisions, opinions and orders relating to applicable statutory and regulatory provisions on the protection of personal data. Please check the date of the last version at the top of this Privacy Policy. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be available at the time they are posted on our website. If we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy by extending our ability to use personal data that we have already collected from Users, we will notify Users and allow them to make a choice regarding our future processing activities.
