Feeder unit for tightening systems – FBH and FLH series

Feeder units are systems designed to automatically select, orient and feed screws to the screwdriving modules.

Can be integrated both with manual modules and with systems for automation, enable the elimination of manual removal of screws, making the process more continuous and improving productivity, order and ergonomics of the workstation.

The range includes two main solutions:

FBH – Bowl Feeder: A vibratory bowl feeder system, ideal for high-throughput applications and for feeding screws continuously, in an orderly and stable manner.

FLH – Step Feeder: System for feeding in steps, designed to feed the screws in a way that is quieter, controlled and flexible, without continuous vibration.

The choice of feeder depends on the type of screw, its size, its geometry, the associated screwdriving module and the production requirements of the application.

Screw feed units form the basis of automatic tightening systems.

Their task is to handle the screw before it is screwed in, by selecting it, orienting it and making it available to the connected module.

They can be combined with automatic screwdriving modules or assisted manual versions, enabling the operator or the machine to work with a screw that is ready for use.

These solutions help to reduce cycle times, minimise handling errors and improve process continuity, particularly on assembly lines, semi-automatic workbenches and workstations where a constant supply of fasteners is required.

FBH Series

Feeding unit with vibrating bowl

The series FBH is an system for automatic feeding based on a vibrating feeder. The screws are loaded into the bowl, moved by means of controlled vibration, guided along a guide and sent to the module only when they are in the correct position.

It is the solution most well-established for applications requiring high productivity, where a continuous and stable power supply is required.

FLH Series

Step-feeder

The FLH series uses a technology for step-by-step feeding. The screws are loaded into a hopper, lifted gradually by means of step-by-step movement, selected, oriented and sent to the next stage only if correctly positioned.

Unlike the vibrating bowl, nit does not use continuous vibration: this makes it a quieter, more controlled and more flexible solution.
