RDA – Joint Simulators

RDAs (Run Down Adapters) are joint simulators designed to provide consistent and reliable torque readings, and are used in conjunction with BMX sensors and PTT or LTT torque readers.

Mountz’s RDA joint simulators are intended to simulate the process of fastening a screw: they are accessories specially designed to reproduce the working conditions of a screwdriver.

In combination with a static transducer from the BMX family and an LTT or PTT torque analyser, they are able to provide consistent and reliable torque readings, reducing the impact of irregular peaks that cause poor repeatability of results by allowing the screwdriver to be calibrated.

Mountz RDA joint simulators are ideal for use with all screwdrivers with mechanical clutch, hydraulic impulse shut-off or transducer torque control system.
