Automatic tightening systems (blowing type) are the ideal solution for productivity, speed and process continuity
The principle of operation of the screwdriving systems using air is extremely linear, but at the same time highly optimised.
The screw is first selected and aligned by the screw feeder, then propelled by compressed air along a tube to the screwdriving module. Here, it is held in place, correctly positioned and tightened automatically.
- In standard systems (ASG series), the screw is guided by the clamping jaws, which ensure its stability until it is tightened.
- In more advanced systems, however, vacuum technology is also employed (AIV series for screws with an internal drive, AOV series for screws with an external drive): the screw is actively ‘gripped’ and controlled, enabling the system to verify its presence and correct position before proceeding. This introduces a further level of safety and quality control into the process.
Il principale vantaggio di questa tecnologia è la velocità: il ciclo è estremamente rapido e continuo, rendendo il soffiaggio la scelta preferenziale per produzioni ad alto volume.
However, in order to function correctly, it requires favourable operating conditions, in particular:
- a compatible geometry of the screw;
- enough space around the screw point.
Every application is different. And precisely for this reason there are no “standard” “standard” when we talk about automatic screwdriving.
Screw type, available space, accessibility, required productivity: every module, feeder and accessory is combined to create a truly effective solution.
