Static torque transducers – BMX Series

MOUNTZ’s BMX Series Static Torque Transducers are static torque sensors normally mounted on benches designed for both torque measurement and calibration of screwdrivers.

BMX models up to 3389 Nm are compatible with the transducer carrier plates installed on our NX01 calibration bench and NX02 calibration bench.

Static torque transducers are static torque sensors that are an ideal solution for torque measurement in applications where accuracy and reliability are paramount. It can be used to test torque in real time or to check the starting torque (first movement) of screwdrivers.

MOUNTZ’s BMX Transducer is a bench-mounted torque sensor designed for both torque measurement and screwdriver calibration. The versatile unit can be used in both a calibration laboratory and production environment. The use of a quality sensor is essential for many companies to ensure that the correct torque is applied. The BMX is a finely tuned torque test instrument capable of measuring torque in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.

Designed to meet the testing of different screwdrivers with different torque reference ranges, they can be used in production, maintenance and calibration laboratories.

Torque is measured using torque analysers (PTT or LTT series) and suitably sized joint simulators: the combination of the 2 makes it possible to monitor the torque delivered by the tool. The reference joint simulators for this series are the RDAs.

MOUNTZ’s BMX series static transducers read the torque value from 1.5 cNm to 27000 Nm, for torques from 0.7 to 11.3 cNm the reference series is the MTX series.
