Screwdrivers with integrated transducer – IHS Series, up to 15 Nm

The IHS series torque wrenches with integrated transducer are designed for industrial applications requiring precision, simplicity and traceability of the tightening process.

The integrated torque transducer directly controls each cycle, whilst the compact and ergonomic design ensures operator comfort even during high-frequency production runs.

When connected to the ICS controller, IHS electric torque wrenches allow the process to be programmed, results to be recorded and the main tightening parameters to be monitored.

The Leetx range includes the “ standard”, with torques ranging from 0.5 to 15 Nm, and the Micro, designed for very low-torque tightening applications ranging from 0.1 to 2 Nm.

Main features:

  • total torque range from 0.1 to 15 Nm;
  • integrated torque transducer;
  • precision assembly to within ±5 per cent;
  • low-voltage servo motor;
  • Versions are also available that are ESD-certified and for automation use with an M20 front thread.

All products from Leetx are part of the range Torque IQ – the new smart platform for the control of industrial fastening.

The IHS series torque wrenches with integrated transducer are precision tools with a straight handle, designed for assembly lines where it is necessary to accurately control the tightening torque and ensure high repeatability over time.

The range is divided into two families. The IHS ‘standard’ cover a torque range of between 0.5 and 15 Nm, whilst the IHS Micro are designed for ultra-low-torque applications, with a total range from 0.1 to 2 Nm.

The high-precision torque transducer directly measures the tightening process, enabling the applied torque to be accurately controlled and helping to ensure process quality, repeatability and traceability of results. Compared with tools featuring a mechanical clutch, this technology allows the process to be monitored with greater precision, verifies that the set parameters have been met, and records the result of each cycle.

For the most delicate applications, the IHS Micro series offers models ranging from 0.1–0.5 Nm, 0. 2–1 Nm and 0.4–2 Nm, with speeds of up to 2,500 rpm. These tools are ESD certified and designed to prevent electrostatic discharge, with a ground resistance of less than 10 Ω, making them suitable for processes where components sensitive to electrostatic charges need to be protected.

For integration into automated systems, versions with an M20 front thread are also available.

The tools are managed by the ICS controller, via which it is possible to set strategies, as well as parameters such as speed, time, direction of rotation and thresholds for control. The results are stored and can be linked to the component, the programme and the operator.
