Automatic screwdriving systems for manual use – AHB, AHV, AHP and AHPQ series

Manual automatic screwdriving systems are designed for workstations where an operator is still required, but where the benefits of automatic screw feeding are still desired.

These are ideal solutions for manual workbenches, semi-automatic production, small batches, assisted assembly stations and applications where greater ergonomics and repeatability are required compared to fully manual screwdriving.

The range includes four main configurations:

  • AHB – a manual module derived from the ASG series, suitable for applications simple and screw points that are easily accessible.
  • AHV – manual version of the AIV series, useful when the screw needs to be held in place and stabilised until it comes into contact with the workpiece.
  • AHP – the manual version of the APP series, designed for applications where the screw is supplied via a feeding system.
  • AHPQ – the manual version of the APPQ series, suitable for reconfigurable workstations and rapid product changes.

The modules can be connected to the FBH and FLH screw feed units, depending on the screw specifications and the application requirements.

Manual automatic screwdriving systems make it possible to speed up the work cycle whilst maintaining direct operator control.

The screw is fed automatically or supplied via dedicated feeding systems, reducing handling times, positioning errors and the need for manual handling of small parts.

These solutions offer an effective alternative between fully manual screwdriving and total automation: they improve productivity, tidiness at the workstation and ergonomics, whilst maintaining operational flexibility.

Available models

AHB Series

Manual version of the standard ASG series – dedicated page

The screw is fed directly into the head of the screwdriver, as in systems of the blow-through ASG series.

It is suitable for applications that are simple, points where screwdriving is accessible and workstations where one wishes to increase productivity.

AHV Series

Manual Version of AIV series – dedicated page

The screw is presented to the operator and held by the system until it comes into contact with the workpiece.

It is useful in positions that are difficult, vertical or deep, where greater control is required during tightening.

AHP Series

Manual version of APP series – dedicated page

The screw does not go directly into the head, but is fed through a feeding system controlled by the module.

It is suitable when the screw is difficult to handle using a standard feed mechanism or when the operator needs greater freedom of movement.

AHPQ Series

Manual version of APPQ series – dedicated page

Solution manual designed for systems with quick changeover of configuration.

It is suitable for workstations with several variants of the product, frequent format changes and the need for rapid reconfiguration.

Every application is different. And precisely for this reason there are no “standard” when we talk about automatic screwdriving.

Screw type, available space, accessibility, required productivity: every module, feeder and accessory is combined to create a truly effective solution.
