The smart controller – series ICS has been developed to offer a management that is comprehensive and intuitive of industrial screwdriving processes, combining simplicity , high capacity for data storage and the ability to integrate with production systems.
Using the 5″ capacitive touchscreen, you can configure clamping programmes, set torque, angle, speed and time parameters, monitor the cycle as it runs and view the recorded results.
The ICS series enables torque control and, in compatible versions, also angle control, as well as Pset management, cycle counting, results history and support for barcode readers. The various configurations Lite, Base and Plus allow you to choose the level of functionality best suited to your specific application.
The internal memory (ICS.1000P) allows you to store up to:
- 100,000 clamping results;
- 10,000 clamping cycles;
- 100,000 alarm records;
- 255 clamping programmes.
The stored data can be viewed directly on the display or exported via USB or a network, facilitating quality control, process documentation and integration with MES systems or supervisory software.
Thanks to the Ethernet connection and support for Open Protocol, Web API, Profinet, EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP in the specified configurations, the system can be integrated with MES, PLCs, databases and supervisory software, making it suitable for Industry 4.0-oriented production architectures as well.
The ICS platform therefore offers a comprehensive solution for low to medium torque tightening applications, where precision, reliability, traceability and ease of management are required.
